High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (vs HOU – $11,400): Needs 46.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.5 fantasy points against Houston. You know what Kevin Durant does. If you don’t, just ask him. He’s a reliable option and he has a high ceiling if he can get it going from the field. With Curry and Klay banged up, there will continue to run things through Durant because he’s a walking bucket. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs BOS – $11,300): Needs 46.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.6 fantasy points against Boston. It was a rough night for Giannis in Game 1 but I’m not too concerned about him. He’s still Giannis. And I expect the Bucks to adjust to get him going a bit more. That’s what the playoffs are all about. Making adjustments and figuring it out. The Bucks are too good not to figure it out. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Gordon Hayward (at MIL – $5,900): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.3 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Hayward was strong in Game 1 and if you haven’t come around on him by now, get with the program. He looks nearly back in form and it’s coming at the perfect time for the Celtics. Keep taking him until he gives you a reason not to. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Nikola Mirotic (vs BOS – $3,900): Needs 16 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.8 fantasy points against Boston. Not a lot to like under Hayward but Mirotic got some minutes in Game 1. Even though his defense will probably keep him off the floor for important minutes. He’s still a shooter on a team that needs to find a way to get their offense going. He’s an option. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a decent ceiling.
