High Salary Guards

Players costing over $8,333

Stephen Curry (at HOU – $10,000): Needs 47.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.25 fantasy points against Houston. This hasn’t been Steph’s series so far. Not that he’s been bad, you just need a little bit more out of him. He’s still Steph and we know he can go off at any time but it’s the Durant show in Golden State right now. And with Steph’s ankles, he seems more than happy to let Durant run everything. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Chris Paul (vs GS – $8,400): Needs 39.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.75 fantasy points against Golden State. As always, you typically know what you’re getting out of Chris Paul. He’s been good but the Rockets still need more from him in this series if they are going to climb out of this 0-2 hole. He can do it but this might be his last chance. Expect Paul to step up in this game and be the best version of himself. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

James Harden (vs GS – $11,200): Needs 50.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43 fantasy points against Golden State. Speaking of guys who need to step up. Harden really needs to be better in this series if the Rockets want to win. He’s struggled with his shot all playoffs and even though he says he’s fine with his eye, it’s likely going to bother him a little bit. He’s still James Harden and if he’s going to step up, much like Paul, this would be the game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
