High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Kevin Durant (at HOU – $9,200): Needs 42.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 61.75 fantasy points against Houston. This continues to be the Kevin Durant series. Steph and Klay aren’t contributing how you would expect Steph and Klay to contribute. Meanwhile, Durant can’t be stopped and he looks very comfortable against the Rockets. He’ll keep it going. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Khris Middleton (at BOS – $6,700): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.5 fantasy points against Boston. Keep taking Middleton until he gives you a reason not to. He always plays well against Boston and he’s been great in this series. He continues to shoot the ball well and even when his shot is a little off, he’s making up that value in other ways. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Andre Iguodala (at HOU – $4,900): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.25 fantasy points against Houston. As I’ve been saying all series, Iguodala is going to be a key member of this series and he continues to deliver in a big way. I have very little doubt about Iguodala’s game and the minutes and opportunities will continue to be there for him. He’s at great option at his salary. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Pat Connaughton (at BOS – $3,700): Needs 16.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.75 fantasy points against Boston. Connaughton has been great after a rough start to the series. I have my doubts that he can keep it up but there’s something to be said for his last two games and he remains at a great cost if he is able to keep it up. There’s not much risk with this salary and upside is huge. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
