High Salary Guards

Players costing over $12,000

Kyle Lowry (at MIL – $12,000): Needs 48.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.2 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Lowry has been consistent in the playoffs. He’s not a bad option to take in your third spot, but I wouldn’t take him any higher than that. He wasn’t good against the Bucks in the regular season failing to cracked 17 fantasy points in two of three games. That is the concern, along with him just being Playoff Kyle Lowry. But he’s more steady than the headlines will have you believe. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Eric Bledsoe (vs TOR – $10,500): Needs 42.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.2 fantasy points against Boston. Bledsoe has the higher ceiling than Lowry but he’s more all over the place. He’s another guy who can be your third pick, but I wouldn’t go any higher than that. He averaged 30.6 fantasy points in four games against the Raptors in the regular season. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Khris Middleton (vs TOR – $12,500): Needs 50.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.1 fantasy points against Boston. Middleton was steady to very good against the Celtics but he’s always good against the Celtics. He averaged 31.5 fantasy points in four games against the Raptors this season. He’s a reliable option and can make for a decent two or three pick. I question his ceiling. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
