High Value Guards

Players costing under $12,000

George Hill (vs TOR – $9,500): Needs 38.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.1 fantasy points against Boston. Hill was very good for the Bucks in the first round. The return of Brogdon might reduce his role, but I have a feeling it’ll cut more into Connaughton than it will Hill. They like him as the steady veteran and will need him in this series. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Malcolm Brogdon (vs TOR – $9,000): Needs 36.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.6 fantasy points against Boston. The extra time to heal should have Brogdon almost back to form. But Connaughton might be the slightly safer pick. I just don’t have full trust in Connaughton despite his good series against Boston. Brogdon was reliable all season and if he’s over his injury, he’ll be back to form in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Danny Green (at MIL – $8,000): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.3 fantasy points against Philadelphia. The Raptors need something out of one of their role players and Green is certainly the guy who can step up for them. He’s not reliable but when he’s hitting shots, he can give you good production. He’s at a decent enough salary if you want to save some money. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
