High Value Guards

Players costing under $12,000

CJ McCollum (at GS – $12,500): Needs 50.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.1 fantasy points against Golden State. McCollum was bottled up by the Warriors in Game 1. He should be better in Game 2 and the ceiling is still high. He just isn’t quite as reliable in this series. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Andre Iguodala (vs POR – $10,000): Needs 40.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.1 fantasy points against Portland. Iguodala wasn’t great in Game 1 but if the Blazers adjust and try to take away Curry, that will open up Iguodala even more. Expect him to have a much better Game 2 as the Blazers try to take away other options. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Seth Curry (at GS – $7,500): Needs 30.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.6 fantasy points against Golden State. Livingston and Cook are viable options in this position but Curry will get solid minutes and proved that he can contribute in this series. They’ll continue to need his shooting. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
