High Value Guards

Players costing under $8,333

Eric Bledsoe (at TOR – $6,600): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.5 fantasy points against Toronto. Bledsoe will continue to get numbers and that’s a good thing. I don’t like his game overall and Hill and Brogdon are honestly the more reliable players and offer more value on the whole. Bledsoe’s floor remains low and that’s the big concern with him. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

George Hill (at TOR – $5,400): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.75 fantasy points against Toronto. Hill’s salary has gone up and that sucks. But he continues to be a steady hand for the Bucks. He remains a good captain pick and if you made him your captain last game, you probably ended up winning your league. Hill will be reliable if nothing else. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Danny Green (vs MIL – $5,000): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Danny Green still just isn’t quite getting it done. But your other options at this position don’t look all this good. Green will continue to get the minutes, which counts for something. You can look towards Brook Lopez, who I’ll briefly mention later, at this spot. Green remains a risk with a good reward. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a decent ceiling.
