High Salary Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $8,333

Kawhi Leonard (at MIL – $11,400): Needs 52.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.75 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Kawhi was down in Game 4 but just about everyone expected him to be down in Game 4 due to the leg injury and fatigue. We just didn’t expect the rest of the Raptors to step up in such a way. Kawhi will get numbers but the injury concern is still there. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs TOR – $11,600): Needs 53.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53 fantasy points against Toronto. You never have to be concerned about Giannis. He’s always going to get his numbers and the best the Raptors can do is simply limit everyone else, which they did a nice job of in Game 4. You can always take Giannis with confidence and this feels like a huge Giannis game given the circumstances. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (at MIL – $8,000): Needs 36.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Siakam was down in Game 4 and has been inconsistent throughout the series, which is slightly concerning. The minutes will continue to be there for him which is a good sign. He’s a risk because you need him to perform at this salary and there simply might be better value elsewhere. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
