2. Prince Pretty returns to NXT

With Dominik Dijakovic out with an injury, it was unknown who would be challenging the Velveteen Dream for his NXT North American Championship until tonight. The Dream made his way to the ring to speak to the Full Sail crowd. He says that he’s “in high demand” and that people want to “feel, touch and hold” the Dream.

Dream says the fact is that he’s is the North American Champion so they can’t do any of that, saying he’s “too big to hold.” Dream says if his name comes out of someone’s mouth they better make sure they say it correctly or don’t say it at all.

Before Dream can continue, Tyler Breeze’s music hits and Prince Pretty returns to Full Sail. The crowd is going nuts and gives him a very a loud “Breeze is gorgeous!” and a “Welcome home!” chant as the Dream looks on, unimpressed.

Breeze declares that “Prince Pretty is home,” and the crowd chants it again. He tells Dream that when he was in NXT, he had everyone talking about him. But since “the fashion left NXT everything feels lifeless and dull,” and that there are “wannabe impersonators and cheap knock-offs,” clearly referring to the Dream. He says as flattering as it is, there can only be one Prince Pretty, and that’s him.

Dream welcomes Breeze back home to NXT. He says things are done differently here now, that the spotlight of the NXT Universe wants “a real man and not a boy that plays cops and robbers.” Dream says just because he couldn’t cut it on Monday and Tuesday doesn’t mean he can come to NXT and demand a spotlight. He tells Breeze “to go back home to where he belongs.”

Breeze says that on the main roster he felt uninspired. But the Dream inspires him, and his championship inspires him. He says an inspired Breeze is “too big for the Dream to handle.” The Dream calls Breeze “a dollar store detective” and questions if he forgot about sitting in catering Monday and Tuesdays nights, telling Breeze that the line for his championship starts outside.

Dream offers him a selfie with the champ before he leaves and Breeze laughs. He thinks about it before agreeing to it and tells Dream that when he writes his phone number on his trunks and no one calls him up, its because “no one is interested,” a shot on Dreams attire from a TakeOver event last year. Before the champ can respond, Breeze drops the Dream and leaves. This was an awesome segment and their match at TakeOver should be fantastic. It was a really smart move from Triple H to set this match up after the injury to Dijakovic. Fans are going to love this match.
