High Salary Guards

Players costing over $12,000

Kyle Lowry (vs MIL – $11,500): Needs 44.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.4 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Lowry continues to chug along. I like him as a PRO pick and don’t even mind bumping him up to a STAR position because I have a good feeling about Lowry in this one. A chance to advance to the Finals with a win at home? Lowry is going to play his tail off. It could end horribly. But I’m going to trust him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Khris Middleton (at TOR – $13,000): Needs 51.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31 fantasy points against Toronto. Middleton did everything but score in Game 5. Turns out scoring is pretty important. I think the Bucks will work to get him going in this game. Get him some early looks to get his confidence back up. The rebounding and assists will probably drop but the scoring should tick up. He’s worth a PRO or STAR pick. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling

Eric Bledsoe (at TOR – $11,000): Needs 42.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.8 fantasy points against Toronto. I don’t know what you’re getting from Bledsoe in this game. That’s usually the case but it applies double in this one. He could have the game of career because why not? Or he could try to do way too much and fall flat on his face because Eric Bledsoe. He remains a risk but will get some type of numbers. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
