“Crying”- Roy Orbison (1962)

Grizzled Young Veterans come out to the ring and wouldn’t you know it, they’re hopping mad about something! Being tag champions is one thing, but no one in all of WWE can hold a candle to how much these two cry and complain. Naturally, the boos are out and shoes are off as Zack Gibson starts screaming at the top of his lungs about his latest grievance.

Can you believe, like can you actually believe this: the champions have to — and stay with me here — the champions have to defend their championships? Have you ever heard such madness? As locker room leaders that we’ve yet to see or hear literally anyone on the NXT UK roster hold up as such, they feel flat out disrespected.

More specifically, Gibson is fuming that he and James Drake have been ordered to defend the titles at Download Festival, in a front of a bunch of sweaty goffs. What, sweaty goffs don’t deserve to see good wrestling, what did sweaty goffs ever do to you? Sweaty goffs didn’t ask to be sweaty nor goffs, it’s just who they are.

Gibson also takes a jab at everybody’s favorite masked luchadores in Slipknot, complaining over the fact that their butchering of music as we know it is going to be playing in the background while he stands on the apron and lets Drake do most of the work. Sounds like Gibson needs to hop on some YouTube comments and lament that he was born in the wrong generation. In all-caps, of course.

What do you think Zack Gibson’s favorite music is? Probably a toss-up between The Stone Roses and the deafening silence he experiences in the one second between waking up and becoming enraged about something, right?
