High Salary Guards

Players costing over $12,000

Steph Curry (vs TOR – $16,000): Needs 58.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 70.1 fantasy points against Toronto. Steph was on one in Game 3 without his usual running mates and he’ll have to be just as good in Game 4 if Klay and Durant are out once again. It’s nearly impossible to predict whether or not Klay or KD will play prior to tip-off but I have a deadline so I’m operating under the assumption that Klay is in and KD is out. Either way, Curry will have to be great again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kyle Lowry (at GS – $11,000): Needs 39.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.3 fantasy points against Golden State. Lowry finally got it going in Game 3 and that’s hopefully a good sign for the Raptors. We’ve seen him have a good game and then fall off a bit but as I’ve been saying all playoffs, he’s been consistent in DFS throughout the playoffs. He’s a good PRO option and maybe bumped to a STAR. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Klay Thompson (vs TOR – $11,500): Needs 42.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.5 fantasy points against Toronto. My assumption is that Klay plays. I could be wrong. I was wrong prior to Game 3 because who knows with injuries. But he seems closer to returning than Durant. Less changes if Klay plays. Everything changes if Durant plays. If Klay plays, expect him to have a strong game and take a lot of pressure off of Curry. I like him as a PRO pick at the very least. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
