High Salary Guards

Players costing over $8,333

Stephen Curry (at TOR – $11,600): Needs 45.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.5 fantasy points against Toronto. Steph will need to be extra special in Game 5 if the Warriors want to force a Game 6. The Raptors defense is making him work but Steph does have Klay back to help alleviate some pressure. The Warriors should make some adjustments to get Steph going a bit more. He’s still a strong option because he’s Steph and will find numbers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kyle Lowry (vs GS – $7,600): Needs 30 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28 fantasy points against Golden State. Lowry’s scoring still isn’t there but he continues to find points in other categories. I love Lowry in this game because of the circumstances. A chance to win the title in Toronto? This means more to Lowry than it does for anyone else on the Raptors except for maybe Drake. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Klay Thompson (at TOR – $8,800): Needs 37 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.75 fantasy points against Toronto. Klay was fine in Game 4 but the Warriors will need more in Game 5. I have all the confidence in the world for Klay to give you at least what you need and there’s always a chance he gets hot in a big way. The Raptors will continue to make life tough but the Warriors aren’t exactly going to roll over. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
