Flya with Xia

In a rematch of a match that barely even started several weeks ago, Xia Brookside took on Killer Kelly. That match had barely started because it was interrupted by Jinny and a debuting Jazzy Gabert, who slammed Brookside into a pile of blue dust.

Brookside is extra-motivated here, of course, because Killer Kelly abandoned her, left her both high and dry to face down Jinny and Jazzy (but mostly Jazzy) all alone. Not only that, but she’s now extra-motivated to prove her worth in the division after Kay Lee Ray snatched the No. 1 contendership from her.

Basically, whichever way you spell it out, it reads as bad news for Killer Kelly. They go back-and-forth, Kelly hitting some cool-looking offense — a bridging wheelbarrow Suplex — some gross-looking offense — pulling at Brookside’s eyelids for some reason — while Brookside continually mounts her “I may be tiny but I have a knack for this wrestling thing” comeback.

As things start to break Brookside’s way, Jinny and Jazzy emerge to stand observantly at the top of the ramp. A classic distraction that allows Kelly to roll Brookside up and not get the pinfall. Jinny and Jazzy then leave and Brookside hits Kelly with a (Don’t Call It A) Codebreaker to get the win. Weird flex — standing up there causing a distraction that doesn’t work and then having no follow up — but okay.
