4. Adam Thielen (Minnesota VIkings)

We could honestly target both Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs as the number four wide receiver to watch for as both had a great season in Minnesota. Adam Thielen is obviously the clear target though for what he did last season.  He broke records coming from nothing but he really never took a week off and knows how to get the job done. Plus with multiple targets to have on this offense, it’s hard to sag off of one receiver to double up on another target in the Minnesota Vikings system.

Adam Thielen was able to break a nice season record last year recording eight straight games of 100 receiving yards or more. He had a great first half of the season and slowly came to a halt in the second half. He finished the season with 1,373 receiving yards while averaging 86 yards per game. He found the end-zone just 9 times while having a catch percentage of 74%. The man does not half brick hands. His counter-part, Stefon Diggs, is up there also in receiving looks and work on the ground. A duo that every defense should be scared of.

Now Thielen wasn’t used as much in the receivers sweeps like Stefon Diggs but he was used five times in it. If the Vikings are able to spread that rushing wealth to Thielen this season, it opens up more looks and of a game for both wide receivers. Compared to Thielen’s five rushes, Diggs had ten rushes and doubled what Thielen produced on the ground with 62 rushing yards. Like I said, Thielen and Diggs are two receivers that could be featured in the “The Top 5 To Watch For” as they both get good looks and workload in this Minnesota Viking offense.
