Fantasy Football – The Top 5 Wide Receivers To Watch For

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen! Also welcome to our new home, FanSided Fantasy! While kicking off the month of July with a bang, I also am here to continue our weekly “The Top 5 To Watch For” for the 2019-2020 NFL Fantasy Football season! We have already covered the Quarterback and Running-Back position so lets dive into the wide-receiver position and see who we should be watching for. There are some familiar faces and not so shocking receivers on this article. Are you as excited as I am for the NFL season? Lets get this early jump start continuing once again!

5. JuJu Smith-Schuster (Pittsburgh Steelers)

I love me some JuJu! The young wide receiver gets to step as the main wide receiver in Pittsburgh with the departure of Antonio Brown to the Oakland Raiders. Even with Antonio Brown on the field last season, JuJu was able to put up some impressive numbers. The Steelers lost two huge stars but that did not slow them down last season. They will be kicking off the 2019 season with a less drama filled team but it’ll greatly help out the team with no off the field or on the field distractions (depending on how you look at it).

JuJu Smith-Schuster was able to record 1,426 receiving yards last season and will look to improve that amazing number this season as the number one receiver. He recorded just 7 touchdowns last season but he averaged 89 yards per game. He had a catch rating of 67% while averaging near 12 yards per catch. He did have one fumble which many claimed cost the Steelers their season. Lets not forget about the wide receiver who took some practices off due to his own ego. Don’t blame Juju! This young receiver will be back to prove that he can be and do better this upcoming season.
