WWE NXT UK Preview July 10, 2019: Watch online

A look at the upcoming July 10, 2019 edition of NXT UK, featuring Dave Mastiff teaming up with The Hunt to battle Gallus.

Following weeks of tensions boiling over, a bunch of big, burly dudes are raring to repeatedly barrel over each other in a main event setting on NXT UK.

Doing battle in six-man tag team action are Gallus, up against the newly-formed animal kingdom alliance of Dave Mastiff and The Hunt (Primate and Wild Boar). The reason for this Mastiff-Hunt team-up? They understand each other’s pain. As of late, both Mastiff and The Hunt have been on the receiving end of some Gallus violence.

For Mastiff, the war with Gallus has been an ongoing one since he re-debuted on the brand in April. Things started in this direction after Wolfgang instigated a scuffle backstage, seemingly upset over … the legitimacy of Mastiff’s strongman bonafides? It’s honestly unclear. But from there, a war of words escalated into a match, one that coincidentally happened to be a qualifier for the No. 1 contender fatal four-way. Mastiff won in rather convincing fashion, but was afterwards assaulted and beat down by Gallus in equally convincing fashion.

This spilled over into the fatal four-way itself, where Joe Coffey was one of the other competitors. Neither became No. 1 contender, but after a full match where the two repeatedly targeted each other, it was clear things between Dave Mastiff and Joe Coffey weren’t quite done.

On that very same episode of NXT UK, The Hunt’s portion of the conflict sprung up, seemingly out of nowhere. After a victory, the duo were suddenly attacked and laid out by Mark Coffey and Wolfgang. From there, Primate and Wild Boar got a match against their assailants, which led to a loss, which led to a post-match battering at the hands of all three Gallus members.

Knowing this unjust treatment oh too well, Mastiff rushed to the aid of the defenseless animals, and an alliance was formed. Odds completely evened, Dave Mastiff and The Hunt have a chance to shake Gallus’ so-called “Kingdom” to its core.
