Big Heckin’ Woofer

Kona Reeves is cocky and arrogant as all hell, but unfortunately for him, he brought a mesh button-down to a Dave Mastiff match. Mastiff: a big English man with the name of a big English dog. Nigel calls him a “thick fire hydrant of a man.” When he stomps in the ring during his entrance, the camera shakes. Wild. Dave Mastiff rules.

Reeves actually does manage to get Mastiff down to the ground after hanging him up on the ropes and kneeing him in the head. It is, however, only a prelude to Mastiff showing how strong he is. Using his core strength, Mastiff powers out and hits a running crossbody on a standing Reeves. From there it’s all over; Reeves gets deadlifted into a German Suplex, dropkicked into the corner, and gets pinned after being crushed by a cannonball. The cannonball might seem like a transitional move, but when a 21-stone man nails you with one, it’s light’s out. An impressive victory for the returning Mastiff.

In the back, Mastiff gets some congrats, but one person not impressed at all is Wolfgang. He yells “Strongman!?” a couple of times, as he seemingly has not been watching the Mastiff hype videos that shows off what a strong man Mastiff is. These two dogs get into a shoving match, and Mastiff tells Wolfgang he’ll have him for dinner. We are definitely headed for Mastiff v. Wolfgang, Dog v. Dog, to find out who is truly the goodest boy.
