Fantasy Football Rankings: QB Strength of schedule

Jared Goff (7)– He and the Los Angeles Rams made it to the Super Bowl last year to ultimately lose to the New England Patriots. Heading into 2019, The Rams seem to have lost respect in the fantasy community and I’m unsure if it has something to do with the ongoing injury of Todd Gurley.

Speaking of Gurley, does this injury mean HC Sean Mcvay will expect more out of Goff in the passing department? If so, I think Goff can handle it, especially with the fact that he arguably has the best trio of WR’s in Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods, and Cooper Kupp.

Goff currently has an ADP of QB12 which seems like you are essentially drafting him at his floor. The Rams first tough matchup comes week 8 against the Chicago Bears.

Lamar Jackson (8) – As if I needed another reason to love Lamar Jackson in 2019, here we are. His first 7 weeks include matchups against the Dolphins, Cardinals, Chiefs, Browns, Steelers, Bengals, and the Seahawks.

Looking at those matchups, I really don’t see much concern for Jackson schedule-wise. Overall, I love what the Ravens have done this offseason building this offense around Lamar. They added Mark Ingram in free agency and drafted rookie Justice Hill to make the RPO’s (run-pass option) even scarier for opposing defenses.

They also added two speedy WR’s in the draft in Miles Boykin and Marquise Brown. With the way the Baltimore Ravens have revamped this offense, I really think Jackson will be a force in 2019.

Jameis Winston (9) – This upcoming 2019 season seems to be the most important one of Winston’s career. He is entering a contract year and really needs to prove himself to new HC Bruce Arians and company.

Luckily for Winston, he gets blessed with a top-10 easiest SOS for the QB position and now has the best offensive-minded coach of his career. The only tough matchups I see Winston going against this year include the Rams, Jaguars, and the Texans.

With question marks at the RB position in Ronald Jones and Peyton Barber, you can expect Winston to air it out to his star-studded group in Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and O.J. Howard. Currently being drafted as the QB13, it could be a huge year for Winston.
