Keke Coutee, Houston Texans

The Houston Texans receiving corps will finally be returning to full health for the 2019 season. The duo of Will Fuller and Keke Coutee combined for just 13 games played last season. In these 13 games, both receivers averaged over 10 PPR points per game. Fuller currently has the higher ADP (81.7) according to FantasyData, but is coming off of an ACL tear. Coutee could solidify himself as Desean Watson’s number two option.

Coutee’s rookie season was plagued with injuries. He only played a total of seven games, one of which was in the postseason. Coutee made his name known in the first game where he saw action, with 11 receptions on 15 targets for 109 yards. Following this Week 4 performance, Coutee was a popular name on the waiver wire. His production took a downward turn rounding out the season as he was slowly faded out of the offense. In his final five regular-season games, he only saw a total of 17 targets. Coutee did make a return in the postseason after sitting out five weeks with a hamstring injury. In the Texans’ playoff loss to the Colts, Coutee racked up 11 receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown.

The former 4th round pick has a current ADP of 114.2, putting him at WR46. Coutee returning in the postseason showed that he was healthy enough to play, so we shouldn’t have concerns there. This is a Texans’ team that should propel themselves into the Top 10 in terms of scoring offense in 2019. The return of Coutee will be a huge addition to an already efficient offense.
