DraftKings MLB Stack Options:

New York Yankees vs. Andrew Cashner:

The Yankees blasted Cashner in Baltimore. It’s not going to be any different just because the uniform is. The Yankees are hitting .324 with five homers and 26 runs in only 145 at bats. Luke Voit is 5-7 with a homer and four RBI. Gleyber Torres has two of those five homers. Gregorius and Judge have the other two. As for the last piece of this stack, Edwin, Aaron Hicks, and Austin Romine are about the same in past stats. Use whichever fits your budget.

Minnesota Twins vs. Dylan Cease:

Cease has a lot going for him, but he hasn’t quite figured out the majors yet. The Twins aren’t a good place for him to figure it out either. I really like Kepler, Eddie Rosario, and Jason Castro here. Nelson Cruz and Miguel Sano will also be in there for power potential. I will have at least one Twins stack because people are still going to flock to Cease.

Cleveland Indians vs. Jake Junis:

Junis has allowed 16 runs in 23 innings over four starts against Cleveland already this year. Why would this one be any different? Because he’s a new father? Maybe, but I’m not paying $8,500 to find out. The numbers stay attack, and Lindor should lead the charge. Frankie is 12-25 with three homers and nine RBI against Junis already. Jake Bauers and Tyler Naquin have the other homers. Jose Ramirez and Carlos Santana have also hit Junis well if not hard yet. Stay away from Kipnis (3-17) and Mercado(1-9). They haven’t solved Junis yet.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Asher Wojciechowski:

Wow, one good start against Boston and his price climbs $1,600. I’m not convinced that he can handle the Angels though, especially on the road. The peripheral numbers on Woj aren’t all that bad, so you don’t have to stack here if you don’t want to. For me, it’s a matter of leverage. People are going to use what he did against Boston as a barometer and because of recency bias. I’m going to point to Trout, Ohtani, and Pujols and say that’s the recency you should be worried about. For the price, I really like Andrelton Simmons and Justin Upton too. They’ll get back on track sometime.

Detroit Tigers vs. Yusei Kikuchi:

Kikuchi really hasn’t had a good start in over a month. Detroit hits lefties a whole lot better than righties. Castellanos and Brandon Dixon are the main targets here, but we should go deeper, especially if you plan on paying up for pitching and/or Yankees. Niko Goodrum has been the best hitter on the team lately. You can make room for Harold Castro and JaCoby Jones leading off as well. This isn’t a potent offense, but they are going to look like it tonight.
