The Indianapolis Colts are one of six teams expected to win double digit games this season. Some say it’s a bold call because of how good many expect the AFC South to be, but we need to hold our horses on that. The Tennessee Titans have major talent issues and injury concerns, the Jacksonville Jaguars went all in with Nick Foles, who has not succeeded when outside of the Philadelphia Eagles organization, and the Houston Texans who seem to keep Deshaun Watson together with Scotch tape and Silly String.

Yes, there are injury concerns for Andrew Luck, but for the most part his shoulder issues seem to be behind him. There is the weird report that the Colts are being cautious with Luck’s calf injury because of what happened to Kevin Durant, but it seems like this shouldn’t be something to worry about. However, this is the Colts were talking about, and they didn’t really handle Luck’s last injury very well.

Still, they have a completely stacked team surrounding Luck. They won 10 games last season, and added Devin Funchess, Justin Houston and Spencer Ware in the offseason. They didn’t lose anyone of terrible value, and brought in players with a lot to be motivated about. Funchess is only signed to a one-year deal, and Houston is looking to make the Chiefs look bad for letting him go.

The Colts have drafted very well, and that’s led to a very deep roster. If someone on defense gets hurt, it will be next man up. On offense, they have Frank Reich building great offenses, so if someone goes down on that side of the ball, he can make up for it with a great scheme. Even if Luck goes down for a short time, Jacoby Brissett is a serviceable replacement.

10 is a big number when looking at the preseason win totals, but the Colts are so stacked, it’s smart to put the money on them. Plus, you get plus money to take a chance they get to 11 wins.
