The Arizona Cardinals seem like the most likely team to finish the season at the bottom of the NFL. It’s either them or the Miami Dolphins on most expert’s list. However, those lists aren’t correct very often. We thought the Buffalo Bills were a lock for worst in the NFL last season. They looked that way every time Nathan Peterman took the field, but Josh Allen gave them hope.

Kyler Murray is here to give the Cardinals hope. The number-one overall pick will change the face of the Cardinals forever. However, this kid is only 21 years old. Plus, he probably won’t be the problem.

The big issue here is the head coach. Kliff Kingsbury was fired as the head coach of a middling Big 12 program in college. Somehow, that turned into a head coaching job in the NFL? Well, he does do well with offenses. That is where the game is going. They still have talent on this Cardinals team, with Larry Fitzgerald fighting Father Time and Chandler Jones coming off the edge, but there’s a lot going against them. Trying to learn a new system is not easy in today’s NFL, but a coach trying to make it in the NFL for the first time? It’s crashed and burned too many times for us to count.

Add in the fact that Patrick Peterson will miss the first four games of the season, things look bleak for the Cardinals. Let’s say the Murray could win the team two games by himself, we still don’t like the talent on this team enough to overcome a coach learning from his mistakes.
