UFC 240 MMA DFS Picks – Mid range Plays

Seungwoo Choi (7,800) -115 even.

Choi Actually opened up as a +100 underdog and now he is -115 which is the huge value that we need to take upon in DFS or even sports betting. Choi is a 6-foot featherweight kickboxer with impressive high kicks and can end the fight in spectacular fashion. I love the matchup for Choi because his opponent Gavin Tucker likes to strike from range but he’s not going to be able to do that against Choi who is much lankier and fights better from distance. Choi has a huge body and that’s just not going to work for Tucker. Choi will be able to fight from a distance and I feel like he will win this fight pretty easily from range and he makes for a great mid-range value target.

Alexandre Pantoja (8,300) -135 to win.

Pantoja is one of the best mid-range targets this week. He gets to face Figueiredo in a featherweight matchup. Figueiredo is not great on his feet, spotting a horrible 46 significant strikes in the last 5 fights he has fought. Pantoja can keep this fight on the feet and land at will as he lands 4.5 significant strikes per minute while Figueiredo doesn’t strike at a high rate – only 1.5 per minute so far in his last 5 fights. This makes for a great matchup for Pantoja, whose only problem is takedown defense which is something his opponent struggles with, as Figueiredo only has a mediocre 46.7 takedown rate. While I see this fight standing Pantoja is a great target in the mid-range.
