DraftKings MLB Stack Options:

Washington Nationals vs. Dallas Keuchel:

You would think that since Keuchel spent his whole career in the AL prior to this year that he would have little experience against the Nats. Not true. Many of the current Nationals spent time in the AL, and they torched Keuchel when they were there. The Nats are hitting .370 with three homers and 14 runs in 100 at bats with just 16 strikeouts. Keuchel’s start against the Nats this year didn’t go so well either. Brian Dozier, Yan Gomes, and Kendrick have homered against Keuchel before. Juan Soto, Victor Robles, Rendon, Turner, and Adam Eaton are all hitting him well. There’s not wrong way to beat on Keuchel tonight.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Jordan Lyles:

The Reds are hitting .346 with five homers and 17 runs in just 81 at bats against Lyles. Votto is 7-16 with two of those homers. Derek Dietrich has the other homer. Suarez, Jose Peraza, Yasiel Puig, and Scooter Gennett all have multiple RBI and strong averages. There isn’t anyone in this lineup I would avoid. Lyles has a 8.24 ERA over his last ten starts. The guy just doesn’t have it right now.

Kansas City Royals vs. Thomas Pannone:

I’m on the fence about this one. On one hand, the Royals creamed Trevor Bauer yesterday. On the other, that was only the fourth time since the break that the Royals scored five or more. Pannone’s numbers are awful, but part of that is the Jays’ fault. They have called up Pannone for two July starts. Both were against Boston. Still, there’s a lot to like about the Royals righties here. Whit Merrifield, Jorge Soler, and Hunter Dozier all have legit power. So do Bubba Starling and Cheslor Cuthbert. This is a cheap stack that could prove rather lucrative.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Jordan Zimmerman:

How does a guy have a 9.70 ERA over his last ten starts and still have a job? Obviously, he plays for the Tigers. Zimmerman’s bad early season has actually gotten worse somehow. The Angels are hitting .316 against Zimmerman with three homers and 11 runs in just 24 at bats! At this rate, Zimmerman will be lucky to make it through the order once. Pujols is 4-10 with two homers and five runs. Upton has the other homer. Andrelton Simmons, Kole Calhoun, and Mike Trout will round out my stack. Who’s in yours? I see this as better use of my money than a Coors stack.
