Fanduel MLB DFS Breakdown: 8/10 – Split Slate Saturday

FanDuel MLB DFS Breakdown: Sample Lineup and Overview
Here’s where I am going to break down my thought process on this slate for you. In cash games, I think you suck it up and pay all the way up to Soroka on the early slate and Morton on the main slate. In GPPs, I am all about paying down into the mid-tier to save more salary for your bats.

My early slate GPP lineup is a Boston-Detroit 4-3-1 roster build with D.J LeMahieu as a one-off to get some exposure to the Yankees 6-run total.
I love rostering two first basemen from the same team (Dixon and Cabrera) as it will likely give you a unique roster construction that other players are not likely to have.

C/1B: Miguel Cabrera
2B: Michael Chavis
3B: D.J. LeMahieu

My main slate GPP build is an Astros-Twins 4-3-1 configuration with Tyler Naquin as a cheap one-off who I love to target as he has some nice home-run upside. Aaron Sanchez is my favorite GPP pitcher but I’ll have some exposure to the other GPP targets I laid out earlier in the article, as well.
