How to Go About Drafting Antonio Brown in 2019?
Drafting Antonio Brown After First Round
Now here’s the second part of this scenario. What if you still really like the idea of having Antonio Brown on your roster, but not at the cost of your first-round pick? That’s completely okay! There’s a possible solution to this dilemma as well.

Let’s say for instance you choose not to draft Brown with your first pick of the draft this year. Round Two approaches and you’ve been put on the clock once again. Brown is just sitting there waiting to be taken at this point. It’s your move as precious seconds quickly tick away. Finally, you do it. Antonio Brown has been selected by you and he now sits on your roster list!
But what’s the plan from here? There’s got to be a plan, right? Don’t worry, yes I have a plan in place. Every good fantasy football manager should always have a plan and prepare for a rainy day. Like I said before, the NFL is a very unpredictable world and it’s always better to be overly cautious than not.
Once again I urge you to select another quality wide receiver in the third round, especially if you hadn’t done so, in the round before which you selected AB. It’s being projected that pass-catchers such as Adam Thielen, Keenan Allen, Amari Cooper, and even Stefon Diggs are all going somewhere in the third round of drafts this year.
Both plans at the end of the day have the same philosophy, stock up wide receivers. Antonio Brown’s consensus ADP has significantly dropped down to 22nd overall! That’s insane considering the talent that he has but it’s the recent negative news swirling around hurting his draft stock.
Also, another minor factor is the fact that Brown is not playing in as good of an offense anymore as he was in Pittsburgh. While that is true, I still feel Brown will be able to put up elite numbers regardless of who is throwing the ball.
As long as Derek Carr can throw the ball within Brown’s vicinity, he should be able to come down with it more often than not.
Either way, there have been some factors negatively impacting Brown’s fantasy draft stock this year. Proceed with some caution, but remember he is still a very gifted player at his craft. As long as no injuries befall him, and he does not get involved in any other issues this year, he will once again be one of the best receivers in the game.
