Fantasy Football Winners:

Kerryon Johnson So far everything this offseason everything has gone Kerryon Johnson‘s way. With the release of Riddick, I am looking for Johnson to expand his passing game volume and become a true three down back this season. Last season Johnson caught 32 passes in just 10 games while Riddick caught 61 of 74 targets. That is a ton of targets coming Kerryon’s way which makes his rise in ADP to #25 very justifiable.

Fantasy Football Losers:

Matthew Stafford

It is no secret that the Lions want to be a run first football team with Matt Patricia hiring Darrell Bevell as his offensive coordinator. Instead of the usual 600 plus passing attempts that we have been accustom to during Stafford’s 10 year career, he will be lucky to surpass 550 this season. While I do think his efficiency will rise this season, he will not have enough volume to put him into the top-10 at his position.

Kenny Golladay

I was extremely high on Golladay entering this offseason up until the point they made the Darrell Bevell hire. While I do still think Golladay leads the Lions in receiving this season, his ceiling went from top-10 to top-20 with Bevell as his coordinator. With a career catch rate under 60% and a target share under 125, it will be difficult to reach his potential as a top-15 receiver this season. I am hoping for a change next season as Golladay is one of my favorite young receivers in what should be a pass happy league.

Marvin Jones

I tried warning everyone last year of the Marvin Jones regression, maybe this year they will listen. With a coordinator that is going to limit the passing game and at best the third or fourth receiving option on this team behind Golladay, Johnson, Hockerson how can one justify an ADP of #94?
