Ohio State. Chase Young. 5. player. 16. . Edge

The Buffalo Bills enter the season as a team that not many members of the media are counting on making the playoffs, as quarterback Josh Allen continues to develop as a franchise signal-caller. He took some big steps last season, showing he can make plays with his legs, and his arm, and the franchise appears to be in good shape with him under center.

During the 2019 NFL Draft, the Bills filled a need in the first round by selecting defensive tackle Ed Oliver out of Houston. In 2020, they should look to continue to add to their defensive line, but this time, bring in arguably the best edge rusher that this draft class has to offer.

Chase Young is a terrific talent, and I do not believe there is a way that he falls out of the top-5 picks in the 2020 NFL Draft. This is a Bills team that has a lot of nice young pieces to the puzzle in place, but if they are selecting this high next April, then it is another season towards the cellar of the AFC East.

50. . Safety. LSU. Grant Delpit. 6. player

The Detroit Lions went on the offensive with their first round selection in 2019, adding a quality tight end in T.J. Hockenson out of Iowa. Hockenson has the ability to not only be a stellar blocker for the Lions, but also make some big plays in the passing game, and he will serve as a nice security blanket for quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Next April, the Lions should look to the other side of the ball for their first round draft pick, which could be a top-10 pick based on their division, and their schedule. One area of need for this team moving forward is in the secondary at safety, and Grant Delpit from LSU is the best player in this draft class at that position.

Detroit bolstered their secondary a  bit this past April, bringing in two defensive backs within the first five rounds of the draft. However, Delpit is a special talent, and while the secondary in Detroit should be better in 2019, this is a guy who could be a leader on this defense for years to come.
