4. Zaha scores to help Crystal Palace beat Spurs

One match-up that looks like it could be particularly close this weekend is the game between Tottenham and Crystal Palace. Spurs should be winning this one, but Crystal Palace are fresh off of victories over Aston Villa and Manchester United which will give them plenty of confidence.

The Eagles are one of the most unpredictable teams in this league as they regularly show up against the bigger sides but then fall down against teams more on their level. Wilfried Zaha has not really found his best form so far this season and he’ll hope to make that right this weekend.

One very dangerous thing for Crystal Palace is Harry Kane’s international form. The Spurs talisman netted four times in two international matches and there’s no doubt that he’ll fancy his chances of bringing that form back to the Premier League this weekend.

Roy Hodgson will make sure that his side keep things tight at the back and they will then rely on the likes of Zaha and Jordan Ayew to help them win the game at the other end. Spurs are a very strong side but they don’t seem to have the clinical edge just yet and that gives opposition teams confidence.

Ultimately a point would be a good result for the Eagles and they should look to Newcastle’s performance at Tottenham for some inspiration. The Magpies were well organized and took their chance when it came.

Spurs have some great center-backs but they’re options at wing-back are a little less reliable – something that can be exploited by pace from the likes of Jeffrey Schlupp and Zaha. Harry Kane will find the back of the net for the fifth time in a week but Palace will hit back with two goals and take all three points back across London with them.
