Heavyweight Tyson Fury fights for the second time of 2019 against undefeated Otto Wallin. Fury needs to win for his second crack at Deontay Wilder.

Heavyweight Tyson Fury (28-0-1, 20 KOs) has risen like a Phoenix after three years out of boxing to get back into title contention. He fights Saturday, Sept. 14 live on ESPN+ against undefeated Otto Wallin (20-0, 13 KOs). Fury’s expected to win easily, but he’s got a rematch with WBC champion Deontay Wilder riding on this fight.

According to the Sportsbook Review, Wallin is a massive betting underdog with odds anywhere from 10-1 to 22-1. This matchup allows Fury to stay busy on his quest to regain title status, but all heavyweights are dangerous punchers. Wallin may only have a punchers chance, but Fury is always entertaining in the ring.

Fury and his team are trying to increase their profile in the U.S. This is Fury’s second consecutive fight in Las Vegas and his third U.S. appearance in a row.

Despite the steep odds, Wallin told TMZ Sports that he believes he’s going to pull a massive upset.

“As a fighter, you know that anybody can get beat. And, it can happen at any time,” Wallin told TMZ Sports. “Like I said, it’s happened before, and it’s gonna happen again. I wasn’t surprised by this, but it’s still a big inspiration that Andy did it and I’m looking to do it again.”

Main event coverage begins at 11 p.m. ET on ESPN+, but there are several top names appearing on the undercard.

Also slated during the main event coverage is a super bantamweight title bout between WBO champion Emanuel Navarrete (28-1, 24 KOs)  and Juan Miguel Elorde (28-1, 15 KOs). Navarrete is fighting for the second time in less than a month. He successfully defended his title against Francisco De Vaca in August.

One of the more intriguing undercard bouts features former WBO lightweight title champion Jose Pedraza (26-2, 13 KOs) against former world title challenger Jose Zepeda (30-2, 25 KOs). This should be a competitive fight between two men who are itching for another shot at a world title. The undercard bouts can be seen on ESPN+ starting at 7:30 p.m ET.

  • Fight Date: Saturday, Sept. 14
  • Main event start time: 11 p.m. ET
  • Undercard start time: 7:30 p.m. ET
