NFL DraftKings Week 3 DFS top plays

NFL DraftKings: Running Backs
Ezekiel Elliott $8,900
Some people might say that Zeke is a risky play because he probably won’t play in the 4th quarter of a blowout against the Dolphins. That’s not how I choose to look at it. I choose to focus on the fact that Zeke will get 3 quarters against a team that has no business even being called a professional squad. Mark Ingram hit pay-dirt twice against this defense in Week 1 and Sony Michel punched one in last week as well. Zeke is about to eat.
Christian McCaffrey $8,700
If Cam Newton is forced to miss action this Sunday, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Panthers give McCaffrey a few extra carries to help ease Kyle Allen into things. It’s also likely that Allen will be quick to check down to the best passing catching running back in all of football. McCaffrey left a bad taste in people’s mouths last Thursday when he flopped against Tampa Bay, so this week is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the recency bias against McCaffrey and grab him at slightly lower ownership than usual.
Austin Ekeler $7,200
Ekeler’s price keeps steadily rising, but he’s still too cheap based on the volume he’s getting. He has proven to have a nose for the end zone and is heavily involved in the passing game. This game has an over/under of 47 points and carries some real shootout potential. Ekeler is going to have a hand in any offensive success the Chargers find on Sunday afternoon.
