NFL DraftKings: Running Backs

Kerryon Johnson $5,400

This is chalk I’m willing to eat. While the Chiefs have been up and down against the pass, they’ve been straight-up abysmal at stopping the run. Johnson hasn’t exactly been lighting the league on fire, but this tweet by Adam Levitan reveals why there is a reason to remain optimistic that a breakout performance is on the horizon.

Josh Jacobs $5,100

The rookie has been mostly quiet since his big debut in a win against Denver in a Week 1. The Raiders have lost each of their last two games, and it doesn’t seem to be lost on Jon Gruden that Jacobs hasn’t been getting enough touches.

The Colts have really been burned by opposing running backs this year, and they even managed to make Devonta Freeman still look relevant. Look for the Raiders to get back to their running ways and get Jacobs involved early and often.
