Big Talk Boi

Look everyone, it’s Tyler Bate! The crowd sure is happy to see their big strong boi, serenading him with chants of appreciation.

You can tell Tyler appreciates their appreciation too. He talks about how his TakeOver loss was especially tough because he felt that he had let the fans down, a statement which the fans answer with an emphatic “NO!” chant. Tyler also confirms that he is far from finished with his run in NXT UK, for he still has a lot of fight left in him.

Then, wouldn’t you know it, saying he has a lot of fight left in him causes someone’s music to play! Unheard of. It’s Jordan Devlin’s music, so out comes Devlin to be a sourpuss and rain on Bate’s parade.

Everyone else was super impressed by Bate’s performance at TakeOver — us included — but not Devlin. No, he’s bitter because Bate failed while he was kept sidelined by Johnny Saint. Or as Dolph Ziggler would put it, “It should have been me!”

Devlin proclaims that only he has what it takes to defeat WALTER. Yes, Jordan Devlin, the guy who already lost to WALTER in NXT UK, in a non-title match, in less than half the time of Bate’s loss, at a WrestleMania Axxess show, has what it takes. Not saying he doesn’t, just recent history kind of shows he miiiight not. Looking forward to be proven wrong though.

Going to everyone’s favorite well for insulting Bate, Devlin says that Bate may be a big strong boi, but he is a MAN. This sends Bate up the ramp to kick Devlin’s ass — because wouldn’t it be funny to see a “boi” beat up a “man” — which of course makes Devlin go “whoa easy there guy” as he backs away through the curtain. Also looking forward to the eventual match between these two, should rule.
