Six seasons and a movie isn’t cool. You know what’s cool? A victory over enhancement talent on NXT UK’s third consecutive building block show that looks to have minimal consequences. That’s the Nina Samuels Show.

In a “don’t forget I exist just because there’s a heel champion now” match, Samuels prevails over Dani Luna. Unlike in her meeting with Rhea Ripley at the end of July, Luna doesn’t get outright squashed here. She actually gets some good offense in, coming close to upsetting Samuels a couple of times. If only she hadn’t thrown Samuels so far across the ring with a fallaway slam, she could have made a quicker cover and won!

In the end though, it’s Samuels’ spotlight in which to shine. When on the offensive, she barely allows any time for Luna to regroup or recover. This is true down to the very end too. Luna goes to the top rope after her too-strong fallaway slam, but Samuels is able to recover and charges at her. This causes Luna to jump off the top and over Samuels, but before she even has a chance to get her bearings, Samuels charges again, this time rocking her with a huge kick. Then it’s a swinging neckbreaker to put an end to things.

One needs to accumulate wins to be given opportunities, and right now, Nina Samuels is accumulating wins. What might this mean as the Nina Samuels Show enters sweeps season? Tune in next time to find out!
