DraftKings PGA: 2019 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open Picks

$11,100 Patrick Cantlay

Cantlay played well last week, finishing T40. He was able to shake off the off-season rust, and he will be looking to defend his 2017 win and 2018 2nd place at this event. The kid obviously loves this course, and his form is good enough to keep me from fading him. Cantlay is one of the best golfers in this field and ranks in the top-20 in SG APP and SG TTG over the last month. He ranks 1st in the field in DK points at this course.  I will be massively overweight to the field on Cantlay.

$9,800 Tony Finau

Finau is a course horse and I absolutely love his form. In his last 5 starts at TPC Summerlin, Finau is 5/5 in made cuts with a top-10 and no finish worse than T41. Over the past month, Finau ranks 1st in SG TTG, 1st in DK scoring, and 9th in SG APP. He is a bomber that can rip apart this course with his excellent wedge play. If the putter can get hot, he can grab his 2nd PGA Tour victory this week.

$7,900 Scott Piercy

I like the vibe of playing a Vegas boy on his home turf. The guy is nails at this venue, and his recent form is solid. Piercy ranks 26th in SG APP over the past month and ranks 18th in DK scoring at TPC Summerlin. He is a lock to make the cut (famous last words) at a decent price, which is more than you can say about the rest of this range.
