Fantasy Football picks: Week 5 TNF Rams vs. Seahawks

Jared Goff – He is the slightly cheaper of the two quarterbacks, but has more upside, and a slightly better match-up. Goff threw a whopping 68 times in the Tampa game, scoring 23 FanDuel points. He has a 64% completion rate on the year, with seven scores, and ten turnovers, which is terrible. It hasn’t been a great season for Goff by any means, but Seattle is ranked in the middle of the pack giving up 18 points per game to the quarterback position.

This secondary has been good at times, but really bad at other times. I would expect this game to be very high scoring, Goff has so many weapons at his disposal that it is almost impossible to contain the Rams offense. Not to mention that they have run the ball much less this season, especially with Todd Gurley, and have relied more on the passing game.

Cooper Kupp – I just can’t get enough of this young receiver. My goodness he is just having an amazing season, with 46 targets through the first four games of the season. People never imagined that Kupp was going to be this good in the NFL, especially on a team full of stacked receivers such as Robert Woods, and Brandon Cooks.

He has amazed over 350 yards and three touchdowns as Goff’s favorite target. Kupp will run most of his routes out of the slot, and while Seattle has been pretty decent against wide receivers, they have not faced a slot man that is of this caliber. The Rams score more points at the receiver position than any other team in the league, and it is almost impossible to focus in on just one man.
