NFL DraftKings: Running Backs

Ezekiel Elliott $8,300

With Elliott being priced around guys like McCaffrey, Kamara, and Cook, he has a chance to be slightly overlooked this week. There also seems to be a belief that Tyron Smith being ruled out significantly lowers his ceiling. As I pointed out on Twitter on Wednesday, that hasn’t really been the case.

The Cowboys are expected to have Michael Gallup back this week, and his ability to stretch the defense can’t be understated. Having that deep ball threat back on the field should go a long way towards opening up running lanes for Elliott.

Joe Mixon $6,000

Mixon is an $8,000 talent with a $6,000 salary. He’s yet to break off any big plays this season, but his explosiveness should be on full display against Arizona’s joke of a defense this week. If he can manage to punch in a couple of touchdowns in the red zone, he’ll produce massive leverage against all the people rolling with Eifert at the tight end position.
