NFL DraftKings: Quarterbacks

DeShaun Watson $6,700

Which DeShaun Watson will show up this week? Through four games, Watson has alternated two 30 point games with two 12 point games. Coupled with being the second most expensive quarterback on the slate, that type of inconsistency might pull his ownership down. Atlanta’s banged-up secondary is coming off a game where they allowed Marcus Mariota to look competent, so just imagine what an actual NFL starting quarterback could be able to do against them this week.

Matt Ryan $5,900

The other quarterback I’m most interested is facing off against DeShaun Watson. Ryan leads the league in passing attempts, is second in yards, and tied for third in touchdowns. However, it’s his price point that makes him such a great tournament play this week. So much buzz is surrounding Tyler Eifert matchup with the Cardinals that I suspect Andy Dalton at $5,700 will turn into the “sneaky play” that actually isn’t all that sneaky. For only $200 more you can roll with one of the league’s most efficient passers in a game that has all the makings of a shootout.
