NFL DFS Week 5: Fantasy football cash game breakdown
Tyler Eifert – FanDuel $4600 DraftKings $3300
I didn’t want to believe it last week and I’m not sure if I’m believing it this week but it’s definitely clear that tight ends against the Cardinals are a thing. If you don’t want to use the “flow chart” method of building lineups, I completely understand. I ended up not playing Dissly last week and kicked myself for it despite cashing just fine. I’m not sure if Eifert is really getting the same type of love that Dissly did considering he runs even fewer routes and is on a far worse team but I’m hearing people actually talking about playing him. I don’t think I can pull the trigger but I get it. The stats say tight ends against the Cardinals works and if he happens to get just one catch in the endzone, you’re set.
Evan Engram – FanDuel $6300 DraftKings $5800
If I get an opportunity to play an NFL wide receiver at tight end, I’ll take it basically every time. Yes it’s Minnesota and we’ve already discussed how great their defense is but I’m not sure they have a lot of options. This game is a bit of a wildcard and the Giants could be forced to throw quite a bit. DO NOT PLAY ENGRAM AND TATE IN CASH TOGETHER. I have to put that disclaimer in there. I think most people are going to pay down at tight end this week with just 12 games available and the very slight emergence of guys like Dawson Knox and Noah Fant.
