DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:

Nikola Milutinov posted a double double for Olympiacos and Georgios Printezis led the team in scoring. The frontcourt of this team is the strong suit. That said, I’m not playing Milutinov over Nikola Mirotic. Both Mirotic and Brandon Davies were monsters in the opener and both have an even better matchup against St Petersburg today.

Another NBA vet returning to the EuroLeague did so in a big fashion last week as well. Luis Scola wasn’t quite as dominant as Mirotic, but he was a beast up front for a Milan team that is going to lean heavily on Scola until Micov is healthy.

Will Thomas was a force for a battered St. Petersburg team in the opening round, especially after Ayon departed. Thomas will be once again. St. Petersburg is in a little better shape that last week, but not much. Thomas was a bright spot for a team that needs one.

Tornike Shengelia was a bit of a disappointment in the opener, but Khimki’s front is decimated right now. Shengelia and Shavon Shields could have huge games here. I really like blockmaster Youssoupha Fall here as well.

I don’t like the matchup for Anthony Gill, but I still think he puts up good numbers for Khimki due to all of the carnage around him. Both Edgaras Ulanovas and Mike Tobey have better matchups, but Gill will outpace them all in volume and usage.

Berlin and Zalgiris both ran out a ton of fresh bodies up front in the opener. For this reason, their value plays are probably the way to go if you want exposure. That limits the value of everyone involved.

On the other hand, the depleted fronts of Khimki and St. Petersburg provide outstanding value. Janis Timma was huge for Khimki in the opener. Tim Abromaitis was for the St. Petersburg as well. They should both take on big roles again today for a very good price.
