NBA Preseason DFS: Monday, 10/14 – Have you seen the Joker yet?

NBA Preseason DFS: Kings @ Jazz
Sacramento Kings
The Kings will be without Harry Giles, Trevor Ariza, Corey Joseph, Tyler Ulis, and Tyler Lydon. They should have their starting five intact for tonight and all of them (except Harrison Barnes who you can’t make me play…ever) should be in play tonight despite a perceived tough matchup against Utah. Sure, the Jazz are a good defensive team, but the Kings have been playing their starters 25 minutes pretty consistently this season and have a good nucleus of young players who are all solid fantasy options. My favorites are the big men Dedmon and Bagley III, but Fox is also a solid play tonight, especially on Draftkings where he is priced in the mid-tier.
Elite Plays: Dwayne Dedmon, De’Aaron Fox, Marvin Bagley III
Secondary Plays: Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic
Utah Jazz
The Jazz are going to be missing Dante Exum, while Juwan Morgan and Emmanuel Mudiay are questionable. We saw Utah finally ramp up the minutes of their starters in their game on Friday night and there were some solid fantasy performances as a result.
It might sound like lazy analysis to say “all the starters are in play” but in this case it’s true. My favorite guys are Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell but don’t sleep on the other Bogdanovic (Bojan) who is sliding into the starting SF slot and is a deadly shooter. Joe Ingles move to the bench may actually help him stay fantasy relevant with Mike Conley now running the point, but he’s really only a deep GPP option.
Elite Plays: Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell
Secondary Plays: Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic, Royce O’Neale
