Paulson Adebo. 29. player. 124. . Cornerback. Kansas City Chiefs

All of a sudden, there is  trouble in paradise, as the Kansas City Chiefs have lost two straight home games to teams that should be in play for a playoff spot in the AFC this season. After losing to the Indianapolis Colts in primetime in Week 5, the Chiefs fell to the Houston Texans this past Sunday, and the defense looked very bad in doing so.

There is enough firepower on this Chiefs roster to compete with any team in the NFL, but the defense is a major question mark at this point. Kansas City brought in a bunch of new faces on that side of the ball this offseason, and even a new defensive coordinator, but it has not amounted to the unit getting any better.

In the secondary, the Chiefs need help at cornerback, and picking this late in round one,  they could still take advantage of a very good cornerback class by selecting Paulson Adebo from Stanford. Adebo would be a nice addition to a group that includes Tyrann Mathieu and Juan Thornill at safety, but still needs better talent on the edges of their defensive backfield.

player. 15. . Defensive Tackle. New Orleans Saints. Derrick Brown. 30

The New Orleans Saints continue to roll in 2019, and are doing it despite the fact that Drew Brees has been out for weeks, and they have had to rely on Teddy Bridgewater to get the job done. Bridgewater was once one of the better young quarterbacks in the NFL, and based on what we have seen this season, he is going to once again be a starter in this league moving forward.

Derrick Brown from Auburn could have been a first round talent last year, but went back to college for another go-around in the SEC. He is not only big, but is also one of the more physically-gifted defensive tackles in this draft class, and has a knack for getting around offensive linemen and getting to the quarterback.

After years of being a team dominated by their offense, the Saints defense is one of the best in the game, and Brown would be a guy who can help take them to the next level. Many mocks have him going a lot earlier in round one, but if he is still available at No. 30 overall, the Saints would be getting one of the premier defensive tackles in college football.
