EPL DFS Top-Tier Attackers

Harry Kane (Watford @ Tottenham, $22) – It’s not often that I’m on the Kane train, but I will be on Saturday.  I just can’t ignore this matchup at home against this horrid Watford team.  Kane has the best odds on the slate to score (-175).  He’s also coming into this game playing better than he was to start this season with 3 goals, 1 assist, and 7 shots on goal in his last 5 EPL games.

Kane will likely come with some considerable ownership on this slate but getting your Tottenham exposure from guys like Son Heung-Min ($19) or Christian Eriksen ($17) will help save you from the Kane chalk.

Raheem Sterling (Manchester City @ Crystal Palace, $23) – After 5 goals in his first 3 league games this season, Sterling just recently broke out of his scoring slump with a goal 2 games ago against Everton.  I’m not focusing on a City stack this week, but getting some exposure isn’t a bad idea.  I expect the large majority of people to go for Sergio Aguero ($23) who already has 8 EPL goals this season.  However, Aguero is scoreless in his last 115 or so minutes and is apparently banged up.  Raheem Sterling has just slightly lower odds to score in this game at -143 to Aguero’s -150.  This is a decent matchup for City if they play to their potential, but Palace can undoubtedly frustrate them which is why I’m not as high on City attackers as past weeks.

If Aguero is rested, Gabriel Jesus ($20) will come into the starting lineup in a good matchup and at a good price.  Kevin de Bruyne ($20) has the safest floor of the City studs, but he has not been nearly as good on the road this year, so I won’t be looking at him in this game.

Tammy Abraham (Newcastle @ Chelsea, $19) – Although slightly inconsistent, Abraham has been Chelsea’s clear number 1 goal scorer this season.  On Saturday, he enjoys a great matchup against Newcastle who has given up 2nd most away goals this year (2.75 per game).  In past weeks, Abraham has been overlooked and low-owned, and I could definitely see that happening again this week with people gravitating towards City and Tottenham.  Abraham quietly has the 2nd best odds on the entire slate to get a goal, and he’s proven how high his ceiling can get with 3 multi-goal games already this season.  He is averaging 33.1 fantasy points per game in his EPL starts this year which is right up there with the stop stars.  He’s in a great position to snag another goal this weekend.

Pairing him in a mini-stack with Mason Mount ($17) likely won’t be popular but could pay major dividends if they connect this weekend.

Callum Wilson (Norwich @ Bournemouth, $18) – Wilson is another good scorer with a great matchup that could go under-owned on Saturday.  After a rough start to the season, Wilson now has 5 goals in his last 5 EPL games to go along with 9 shots on goal.  He draws a home game against Norwich who has given up 3rd most away goals in the league so far.  Norwich has kept 0 clean sheets and they’ve given up multiple goals in every game except for a home game against Newcastle.  Bournemouth is going to score, and they’ll likely score multiple times, and it’s a great bet that their best scorer in Wilson gets involved.  It’s unfortunate that other Bournemouth attackers are hard to trust in fantasy right now because I would love to load on upon them and take advantage of this matchup.

Josh King ($15) would be my next go-to for more Bournemouth.
