After this season’s 2nd international break, the English Premier League is back on Saturday with a big 7-game main slate.  Keep reading for my thoughts on this slate in my EPL DFS Breakdown.

Our biggest favorite on the slate is Manchester City (-2.0), as you could have guessed.  They face Crystal Palace away, which is not an easy matchup for anyone.  The goal total in this game (3.5) is tied for highest on the slate.  City will be the obvious chalk for many casual DFS players, but there are plenty of other spots in the other 6 games that should not be overlooked.

Chelsea (-1.5) at home against Newcastle is our second-largest favorite on Saturday in a game with a nice 3.0 goal over/under.  This is a game that Chelsea should control and win, but it isn’t the best for DFS purposes.  However, I’ll likely still have some exposure.

Tottenham (-1.5) home against Watford and Leicester (-1.0) home against Burnley follow as the next 2 favorites.  With as poor as Watford has been this season, it might be surprising for some to see that Tottenham is only a 1.5 goal favorite.  However, Tottenham themselves have looked like a relegation side over the past few weeks.  This is a matchup at home they can thrive in if they return to their winning ways.

Two more home teams, Bournemouth (-0.5) and Wolverhampton (-0.5), both find themselves favored slightly against Norwich and Southampton, respectively.  The over/under is only 2.5 in the Wolverhampton game, but the over/under in the Norwich @ Bournemouth game matches the City game at 3.5.

The least attractive game on this slate from a fantasy standpoint is Brighton @ Aston Villa with a spread of 0.0 and a goal total of 2.5.  Many eyes will slide right past this game and for good reason.
