2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

Coming off a Week 6 bye, and heading into a Week 7 matchup against the sieve that is the Miami Dolphins’ defense, Allen’s ownership rates have skyrocketed this week. But even after leaving that great matchup in the rearview, his schedule over the next few weeks shapes up rather nicely.

From Week 8-Week 11, Allen gets the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Cleveland Browns and the Dolphins again. All are in the bottom half of the league in fantasy points allowed to quarterback (Yahoo! scoring), with only the Eagles (barely) outside the bottom-12 entering Week 7.

Allen naturally raises his fantasy floor with his running ability, and he’s set to put up weekly QB1 fantasy numbers over the next month-plus. The schedule looks stifling after Week 11, but as an option to replace Mahomes Allen has to be on the radar. With a fair amount of room to add him still, go check on his availability in your league.
