Fantasy Football picks: Week 7 SNF Cowboys vs. Eagles

Dak Prescott – A likely staple for most people cash game builds will be Dak. The Eagles have been struggling against the pass all year-long, and this revamped passing attack from Dallas has been nothing short of special. Prescott, ranks third in DYAR, second in DVOA, first in QBR, with 1,800 yards, eleven scores, five interceptions, and a whopping 70% completion rate. He has taken giant leaps forward in his overall production. Of course the emergence of second year stud Michael Gallup, and the breakout season we have been waiting years for from Amari Cooper have played large roles in his success as well. Philadelphia gives up the 11th most points against quarterbacks. I would expect this to be a game where Dak throws for a lot of yards, and hopefully those yards translate into touchdowns against a very weak secondary.

Amari Cooper – Of course if we mention Prescott we have to mention his top receiver. Cooper was coming off his best game of the season when he injured his quad against the Jets last week, and was forced from the game. Currently listed as questionable, Cooper did get in some limited reps Friday and is trending towards playing in the Sunday night showdown. On the season, he has five touchdowns, over 500 yards, and is averaging around nine targets per game. Philadelphia actually gives up the most points in the league against wide receivers, and were most recently burned by Stefon Diggs. He was having great success on deep routes, which is not good because Cooper, and Gallup have been running a great deal of deep routes, and having success with them. If he plays I fully expect Amari to be one of the more popular plays, and he has the safest floor out of any other position player.
