Fantasy Football picks: Week 7 SNF Cowboys vs. Eagles

Zach Ertz – With the Cowboys tightening up all aspects of their team, including the defense, it makes it more difficult to find weak spots for us to exploit. The tight-end spot is one of the weaker spots on their defense though. Dallas gives up the 7th most points against tight-ends, ranking 23rd with a 16.3% DVOA against the pass. Zach plays 88% of the snaps, averaging at least eight targets in each game. He also has over 300 yards, but only one score. That should change in this game, I would expect him to see plenty of targets over the middle of the field, and more red-zone targets than in recent weeks. This is my preferred pay up player from the Eagles.

Michael Gallup – I will open up the description on this player by saying that Gallup has 36 targets one touchdown, and over 350 yards in only four games, and with a 57% snap count. Now he was injured in a two games this year, and he did play 96% of the snaps last week, but Cooper exited the game very early, forcing Gallup into a bigger role. He is still heavily involved in this offense even with a smaller snap count, as he has received no less than seven targets in any game. The reason Gallup is one of my favorite overall plays today is his big play ability. He is a deep threat, and that is exactly how Dallas has been using him. This can makes players more of a boom or bust type option, but remember this is a one game slate. He is also the cheapest out of the pay up options, at just 12k on FanDuel. I think he has Stefon Diggs type upside, and should be firmly in play in all formats.
