Fantasy Football picks: Week 7 SNF Cowboys vs. Eagles

Nelson Agholor – This is a very cheap receiver who will be starting once again for the perpetually injured DeSean Jackson. Nelson has been logging around 86% of the snaps most recently while filling in for Jackson. The problem is those snaps have not translated into solid results. In the past three weeks, he had one, three, and most recently seven targets. Alshon has been getting most of the targets, along with Ertz, and the running backs as well. Still, we have to recognize that any receiver getting a large amount of snaps has the chance to at least score every now and then.

Jason Witten – I for one was very shocked that Witten was going to make a return to get game of football, after retiring for just one season. He will be a hall-of-fame tight-end when his career is all said and done, but apparently still has some juice left in the tank. He is playing 74% of the offensive snaps, with two scores, averaging four targets per game, most of which are in the red zone, with three games over 50 yards. Philadelphia is ranked 14th in points against opposing tight-ends. Witten is just too cheap in my opinion, especially when you consider how bad the Eagles defense is, there should be plenty of scoring chances for him.

Jake Elliott – Jake will be our preferred kicker for today’s game. He actually has yet to miss an extra point, or a field goal attempt this season, and is a great young kicker. His field goal attempts are actually down a little bit from last season, but on the chances he has had Elliott has delivered. This should be a pretty high scoring game, which fairs well for any field goal kicker. The price is a little steep on him, but he should have no problem hitting value.
