Late DraftKings college football wide receiver picks October 26

Top Tier:

Brandon Arconado still carries a questionable tag, but he led the Cougars in receiving yards against the Ralphies last week. Both he and Easop Winston are elite options, but you never really know which one is going to have the better stats. Washington State really struggled against a Utah defense that is pretty similar to Oregon’s. I’m nervous about spending this much on a piece of a passing attack that could be grounded tonight.

Middle Tier:

Honestly, I would rather use both Johnny Johnson and Jaylon Redd. With Breeland out, Oregon has spread the ball around a lot more. Redd seems to be the guy in the red zone and Johnson is the guy for most of the rest of the field. They are safer than the Washington State top options tonight.

Note I said top options. I do think Dezmon Patmon is an acceptable risk here. The guy is a touchdown magnet. Even if he doesn’t get near the targets of Winston or Arconado, they are looking for Patmon when the field gets shorter.

Bargain Shoppers:

The struggles of Jordan Love have made every Utah State receiver a risky play. I like both Deven Thompkins and Siaosi Mariner, but until Love comes around, I likely wont use either one anymore.

Utah State’s weakness is in the back of the defense. If Mike Schmidt starts, I’m doubling down on Falcons with Geraud Sanders. Sanders caught three of Schmidt’s five completions last week for 116 yards and a touchdown. I’ll only use him if Schmidt is in though.

I really like Mycah Pittman for the price. He caught his first touchdown against Washington last week, and there is more of a role open for him with Breeland out.
